For our new members currently in the AFA course, please ignore this email. As for everyone else, thank you all so much for taking the time out of your busy schedules to make it out to the recert weekend; it was wonderful to see everyone there! Now that all of the heavy lifting is done, we have just a few loose ends to tie up:
Online Testing & Course Completion: With in-person testing now complete, anyone who has not already completed the online course should do so ASAP. This includes all E-learning modules, the 20 Question CPR BLS exam, and the 80 Question AFA Exam. Please note that in order to patrol this season, the online course must be completed in its entirety no later than November 14th
Remedial Testing: If you were unable to attend the weekend, or if you were able to attend one day but not the other, please email me, even if we have already spoken in person, so that I can ensure I have you on my list for follow-up.
As we move forward into the season, we do have a few more training days coming up, with the On Snow course for the Bridgers. More info on that will be sent out shortly. For both New & Returning patrollers, the Lift evac & Orientation Day is also coming up - The date for this is still to be decided, but it is usually offered on two separate days in early to mid-November.
Finally, one last massive thank you to the Harper Mountain team for hosting us this year; the lodge was a phenomenal venue, and we all greatly appreciate it!
Thanks so much,
Mathew Z
